SPFM Daily Challenge: “One day, you will be old enough to start reading fairytales again.” – C. S. Lewis

Hello!

Today I’m continuing with the Self-Published Fantasy Month Daily Challenge (See image below or for more information check Here). Day two’s prompt is: “One day, you will be old enough to start reading fairytales again.” – C. S. Lewis. While there aren’t so much fairytales in the world of the Citadel, most children are raised with tales of the Gods and so today I’m sharing part of the origin myth.

SPFM Daily Challenge: Worldbuilding Wednesday – Economy, Crafts and Culture

Hello!

Somehow we have reached the 1st September already and while I’m not quite sure how that happened, I’m excited because that means we’re officially into Self-Published Fantasy Month. There will be a lot happening here on the blog, across on twitter and on The Guild Discord Server, so please do check it out and feel free to join in.

Today I am kicking off with the Self-Published Fantasy Month Daily Challenge (See image below or for more information check Here). I will be sharing book recs for all the prompts across on twitter, but I will also be doing short posts about the world of the Citadel on here as well as we are only a few months away from The Ravyn’s Words release.

The World of the Citadel

Hello!

Today is the start of #WyrdandWonder and the challenge prompt for today is ‘we’re going on an adventure’. I have a book review for Little White Hands by Mark Cushen coming up this afternoon/evening which falls firmly into this prompt.

However, I also wanted to do something a little different – and keep to my goal of talking about my wip in public at least once a week, so here is a whistlestop tour of my world (all maps are in progress – and I’m not sharing my messy handscrawled ones, if only because no one would be able to read the writing on them- including me half the time!)
